Pitch Hub — Open Call

Ru-Mòre — Cinema and Audiovisual Experimentation Festival is pleased to invite emerging Greek producers to apply for the Producers Pitch Hub, a focused industry event taking place during Ru-Mòre Industry Days | 15–18 April 2026 in Rome. The Producers Pitch Hub is a curated professional platform designed to connect Greek feature film projects in development with Italian and international producers, broadcasters, and industry professionals, fostering exchange, collaboration, and co-production opportunities.

Who Can Apply - Eligibility

Projects must meet all the following criteria:

Project & Team
  • Fiction or documentary feature film projects in early to mid development stage
  • Led by a Greek producer who has produced no more than two feature-length films, and who is actively collaborating with a director on the project
  • Projects that have already secured initial national or private development support (public funds, broadcaster support, or private investment)
Nationality & Language
  • Both the director and producer must be Greek nationals or based in Greece
  • All application materials must be submitted in English
  • All activities during the Producers Pitch Hub (pitches, meetings, panels) will take place in English, and participants must be able to fully engage in this context
Format
  • Feature-length films (minimum 60 minutes)
  • Both fiction and documentary projects are eligible
Deadline

Applications open: 12 January 2026
Submissions deadline: 31 January 2026

The teams of the selected projects will be informed by the end of February 2026.

Only applications submitted through our website will be considered.

What Selected Teams Will Receive

If selected, participating teams will benefit from a tailored professional experience designed to support both project development and international positioning:

  • A live, moderated pitch session presented to a curated audience of Italian and international industry professionals, including producers, broadcasters, distributors, and institutional representatives
  • Curated one-to-one meetings with selected producers, platforms, fund representatives, and decision-makers, matched according to each project’s profile and development needs
  • Pitch refinement support and preparatory calls ahead of the festival, offering guidance on presentation strategy, materials, and international positioning
  • Accommodation during the event, hosted by the festival for the duration of the Industry Days
  • A full festival pass, granting access to all Ru-Mòre activities, including film screenings, panels, talks, networking events, and public festival programmes
Required Application Materials

All materials must be submitted in English.

  • Project Title & Logline
    — a description of your story (max 30 words)
  • Extended Synopsis
    — brief narrative arc, core themes, characters, and tone (max 2 pages)
  • Treatment
    — narrative treatment describing story, characters, structure, and tone (max. 10 pages)
  • Director’s and Producer’s Intent Notes
    — short statements from both about the creative vision and production strategy (max. 2 pages)
  • Pitch Deck / Visual Materials (optional)
    — moodboards, visuals, reference materials, style notes
  • Production Status & Financing Plan (Excel or Word format)
    — development timeline
    — financing plan
    — rough budget outline
  • Team Bio Notes
    — short bios for director, producer, and key creatives (max 3 pages)
  • Previous Work Links
    — links to completed films of the director

Applications that do not include all required materials will be considered incomplete and won’t be reviewed.
